He finally went to his new job and completed his paperwork. He works a full day tomorrow (Friday) and starts his regular schedule next week. I get to return the tools I bought him because they’re not the right type. The company will provide the tools he needs until he can afford his own. They were very patient accommodating his illness. I hope he doesn’t have any more “off” days.
Maybe I’ll get stuff done while he’s at work. I’m renewing my studio for another six months. It will be financially tight for a bit. My art supplies and bookbinding supplies will come home and I will move my 32 inch loom into the studio and work on getting the yarn stash down. The first thing will be to reduce the wool stash by weaving it into 30 inch panels and felting them. I haven’t taken a picture of that box, but it is larger than the green bin in the picture below.

Here are a few more of the watercolor paintings. I have good days and bad days. My eyes and hands don’t coordinate that well with my brain sometimes, so the quality gets weird from painting to painting.

Saturday, I do my first ballot deposit box run for the absentee ballots. There are several boxes to be checked and emptied. They’re in various locations in the city and we work in pairs and wear vests to identify us as election officials. I have four shifts for this month. I also received my location for Election Day — it’s the same building where I worked during the primary. I do in-person absentee voting at my local library branch.
